Whitney Manney’s innovative fashion designs are functional and wearable. Her new work, featured in ArkhiMODiste, was inspired by the industrial spirit that has shaped our urban landscape.
A Kansas City native, Manney graduated from the Kansas City Art Institute in 2012. Her collections have been showcased in ten local and regional shows, including a solo exhibit at UMKC Gallery of Art, Kansas City Fashion Week, Saint Louis Fashion Week, and Mulvane Art Museum at Washburn University. As a 2013 ArtsKC Inspiration Grant recipient, Manney participated in teaching partnerships with the HALO Foundation and various area schools.
